The  Tasmanian Government, with  the  assistance of  Biosecurity Tasmania, Police and several other government agencies, is working hard to ensure the safety of all Tasmanians during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Please be reminded that all crew and passengers arriving into Tasmania from an interstate or overseas vessel must comply with the following:

–    Enter Tasmania through a designated port of arrival

–    Report their pending arrival to Biosecurity Tasmania

–    Have a valid G2G pass authorising their entry to Tasmania

–    Have an inspection from a Biosecurity Officer

Any vessels that arrive to berth at your facility from an overseas or interstate port MUST be reported to Biosecurity Tasmania immediately.  Vessels should not be given approval to berth without prior approval from Biosecurity Tasmania (except in emergencies). If a vessel arrives without preapproval from Biosecurity Tasmania you must not allow the vessel to:

–    Disembark passengers, crew or goods

–    Let anyone board the vessel

–    Interact with any other vessels
