M084-26 River Tamar, Port of Launceston – Aid to Navigation Maintenance
Mariners are advised that maintenance works will be carried out on several navigation aids and channel markers in the River Tamar from Tuesday, 3 March 2026, until further notice.
The Kulanda will be conducting the maintenance around the Long Tom Channel Marker. An unlit yellow anchor buoy may be present within approximately 36 metres of the channel marker. While on station, the Kulanda will display shapes and lights for a vessel with restricted manoeuvring capability.
Mariners are requested to keep well clear and navigate with caution in the area.
