M203-23(T) Port of Devonport – Devonport 3 East Construction Zone – Wharf piling operations
Mariners are advised that wharf piling operations will be occurring within the Devonport T3 East Construction Zone (as detailed in the attached image) from 15 May 2023 to 31 January 2024.
During this time the 55 metre x 24 metre crane barge Rebecca Lilly will be held in position and manoeuvred using anchors and winch wires. These anchors and mooring lines will be moved form time to time. The location of the Rebecca Lilly anchors will be marked by lit yellow special marker buoys.
A transport dumb barge will be used to deliver constructions piles to the Rebecca Lilly from the temporary loadout facility Devonport 6 west.
The Rebecca Lily and support vessel Riv 42 are fitted with AIS and will maintain a listening watch on VHF 14 when operational.
Mariners are requested to exercise caution and to keep well clear of the anchor buoys, barge mooring lines and construction vessels.
