*Updated 24 April 2026*
On-site works have now commenced at Sisters Beach boat ramp. The old jetty has been demolished, and work has commenced on building the new structure.
What does this mean for the facility?
While this phase of the project is being undertaken, it is necessary to close this facility.
Once the demolition stage is complete, construction of a new stepped walkway will begin.
We’ll share regular updates here on Facebook as the project progresses.
Thanks for your patience while we get these improvements underway.

*Works on the new Sisters Beach landing stage will commence on Monday, 13 April 2026, marking an important upgrade to local marine infrastructure.
Construction will be staged, with activity gradually increasing over the first two weeks of the project. This approach will help minimise disruption while the site is prepared for the main works.
What does this mean for users?
The Sisters Beach boat ramp will remain open during the first week of construction. After this period, the contractor will begin decommissioning and demolishing the existing jetty, which will require changes to how the facility is used.
MAST will continue to share updates as work progresses, and thanks the community for their patience and understanding while these improvements take place.
