Notices to Mariners
Notices to Mariners keep Tasmania’s waterways safe and up to date. They provide important information about changes to navigation, hazards, marine works and other activities that may affect waterway users. Some notices are permanent and may result in chart updates, while others are temporary or provide short-term advice. Temporary notices are marked with a T and may be used to promote awareness of aquatic events, fireworks displays, or necessary temporary facility closures to allow improvements to be undertaken safely.
If you spot something that could be a hazard to navigation, please let Marine and Safety Tasmania (MAST) know. Your report helps keep everyone safe on the water.
