M115-26 River Derwent – Old Bridgewater Bridge – Demolition

During this deconstruction work, a prohibited area is declared from 0700 on Sunday, 22 March 2026, around the bridge and will remain in place until the deconstruction works are completed and a notice is issued by MAST declaring the prohibited area cancelled. The prohibited area includes the Navigation Channel and is bound by the following coordinates.

The prohibited area will be demarcated by yellow-lit special marks labelled “Unauthorised Vessels Prohibited”. All vessels and persons are prohibited from navigating within the prohibited area, unless authorised by Hazell Brady Joint Venture. During this stage of deconstruction, Hazell Brady Joint Venture will consider granting permission to vessels to pass through a temporary Navigation channel to the south of the main navigation channel, subject to the nature of the works at that time.

This notice replaces M004-26 on the commencement of the prohibited area declared under this notice on 22 March 2026.

Regulation 71 of the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 2017 provides for the declaration of a specified area to be a prohibited area for other vessels or persons.
