M317-26(T) Four Springs Lake – Water Monitoring Equipment Deployment

Mariners are advised that a moored water monitoring buoy will be deployed at Four Springs Lake, approximately 100 metres west of the boat ramp near the existing marker buoy, in position Latitude 41°24.024 S, Longitude 146°52.362 E, from Tuesday 1 September 2026 to Wednesday 1 September 2027.

The buoy comprises of a small surface raft, approximately 800 mm × 600 mm, that supports telemetry equipment and a submerged temperature sensor. The raft is secured by a mooring system consisting of a 100 kg anchor weight and mooring rope.

Mariners are requested to maintain a safe distance from the buoy and its mooring system and navigate with caution in the area.
