M321-26(T) Port Arthur, Long Bay – Prohibited Area
Mariners are advised that pipeline installation works will be undertaken at Long Bay Lease, Port Arthur, between the shoreline and the lease, from 1000 hours on Friday, 4 September until 1800 hours on Sunday, 6 September 2026.
The works involve installing a 90 mm pipeline. Divers will be operating from a support vessel, and a dive flag will be displayed while diving activities are underway.
During the works, temporary buoys and sections of floating pipeline will be present on the surface and may present a hazard to navigation.
A prohibited area will be in force for all waters within the following positions:

All vessels not engaged in the pipeline installation works are prohibited from navigating within the prohibited area while the works are underway.
Regulation 71 of the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 2017 provides for the declaration of a specified area to be a prohibited area for other vessels or persons.
