A coroner’s report from NSW has been sent to MAST.
It is in relation to the capsize of a cruising boat on the NSW coast near Seal Rocks on Australia Day in January 2020. A recommendation of the coroner was to alert owners of similar Halverson boats around the country due to stability concerns.
MAST has contacted these owners, but considers the report may be of interest to the boating community, particularly those with cruising boats.
