M043-26 River Derwent – Royal Hobart Regatta
Mariners are advised that aquatic events, including rowing and swimming, will be conducted in the waters adjacent to the Hobart Regatta Grounds and the western side of the Tasman Bridge on Saturday, 7 February, through to Monday, 9 February 2026.
- On Saturday, 7 February, rowing will take place between 07:00 and 11:30 hours, with set-up commencing at 05:30 hours and will involve ropes being temporarily placed across the 4 western most spans of the Tasman Bridge.
- Sunday, 8 February, the Trans Derwent Swim will commence at 08:00 and finish at 10:00 hours.
- Monday, 9 February, the Come and Try Day will be held between 10:00 and 16:00 hours.
Mariners are requested to keep wash to a minimum during the events, transit with caution and obey any directions given by event officials.
Mariners are advised that in accordance with Regulation 68 of the Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 2017, they should not navigate in a manner that will affect proceedings.
