M077-26 River Derwent – New Norfolk to Tasman Bridge – Long Distance Swim

Mariners are advised that a long-distance swim will be conducted from the Bridge at New Norfolk to the Tasman Bridge on Saturday, 28 February 2026, starting at 04:00 hours and finishing at 12:00 hours.

A support vessel will accompany the swimmer, maintain a listening watch on VHF Channels 12/16, transmit AIS, and display Code Flag A.

Mariners are advised to transit the area with caution and to keep well clear of the vessels participating in the event.
