M079-26 River Derwent, Bowen Bridge to Bruny Island – Long Distance Swim

Mariners are advised that a long-distance swim will be conducted on Saturday, 28 February 2026, from the Bowen Bridge, starting at 05:00 hours, to Dennes Point, finishing at approximately 14:00 hours.

A support vessel will accompany the swimmer, maintain a listening watch on VHF Channels 12/16, transmit AIS, and display Code Flag A.

Mariners are advised to transit the area with caution.
