M166-25(T) Port of Burnie – Berth 5 – Dredging and Construction
Mariners are advised that a long-reach excavator on the SeaJack Barge will be used to undertake side casting and dredging at the western end of Burnie Berth 5 from 18 March 2025 to 5 April 2025.
The Barge SeaJack will be towed/positioned in the dredge area by the tug vessel Carrington. When not dredging, the SeaJack will remain on spud legs in the dredged area.
All port vessels are advised to maintain a low wash in the vicinity of the works area and keep a safe distance from construction vessels during the hours of operation.
