M176-26(T) Port of Devonport, Mersey River – Aid to Navigation Maintenance

Mariners are advised that aid to navigation repair and maintenance works will be carried out in the Mersey River from Monday, 4 May to Wednesday, 10 June 2026.

During this period, works will include the replacement of the Beacon No. 2 and Beacon No. 3 platforms and the reinstatement of Beacon No. 9 in the following position:

  3. 41 10.615’S                    146 21.893’E

The works will be performed from the vessel Kulanda, which may deploy anchors marked by unlit yellow buoys to assist with holding position. The Kulanda will liaise with Devonport VTS and clear the channel prior to scheduled shipping movements.

Mariners are requested to keep well clear and navigate with caution in the area.
