M195-26 Macquarie Harbour – Betsys Bay & Liberty Bay – Research Area Closed
Mariners are advised that the research area previously declared in the vicinity of Betsys Bay and Liberty Bay, Macquarie Harbour, for the University of Tasmania’s Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies endangered species rehabilitation project, is now closed.
The research area was comprised of all waters surrounding Betsys Bay and Liberty Bay, bound by an imaginary line commencing from the point latitude 42° 16.809’ South, longitude 145° 15.195’ East; then to the point latitude 42° 16.445’ South, longitude 145° 16.226’ East; then to the point latitude 42° 17.247’ South, longitude 145° 18.831’ East.
