M279-26 River Derwent, Taroona – Pipeline Work
Mariners are advised that works will be undertaken at the IMAS intake pipeline at Taroona from Thursday, 6 August to , Monday 10 August 2026.
The works will involve barge operations alongside the pipeline, with diving operations being undertaken adjacent to the barge.
The work vessels onsite will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 16 while works are underway.
Mariners are requested to keep well clear of the works area and any vessels displaying Code Flag A, maintain a safe distance of at least 200 metres, minimise wash and wake, and navigate with caution in the area.
