M286-26 River Derwent, Battery Point Jetty – Temporary Closure
Mariners are advised that Battery Point Jetty will be closed from 17:00 hours on Wednesday, 19 August 2026 until Monday, 24 August 2026 to allow essential concrete repair works to be undertaken.
To ensure the safety of the public and workers, the facility will remain fully closed for the duration of the works. There will be no access to the jetty by land or water at any time, including during the day and overnight.
Mariners and other waterway users are requested to keep clear of the works area and navigate with caution in the vicinity of the jetty due to construction activity.
