M304-26 – River Tamar – Tailrace – Salvage operations
Mariners are advised that a salvage operation is taking place near the entrance to the Tailrace on the River Tamar in approximate position Latitude 410 25.14’ S, Longitude 147o 06.94’ E.
The Salvage operation involves the use of a tug, with cables running between the tug and the vessel being salvaged. The operation is not expected to be completed until late in the afternoon on Sunday 23 August 2026.
Mariners should avoid the area while the salvage operation is taking place.
