M311-26 Port of Devonport – Mersey River Entrance – Dive Operations

Mariners are advised that dive operations will be undertaken at the Mersey River entrance from Wednesday 26 August to Thursday 27 August 2026 inclusive.

The dive site is in the vicinity of position Latitude 41°09.998′ S, Longitude 146°22.222′ E, south of the entrance beacon No. 1 and adjacent to the northern end of the eastern breakwater wall.

The dive support team will maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 14 while dive operations are underway in port waters.

Mariners are requested to keep well clear of the dive operations, which will be marked by International Code Signal Flag “A”, maintain a speed not exceeding 5 knots within 120 m of the dive site, and navigate with caution.
