M329-25(T) Jordan River, Gage Cove – Pipeline Installation
Mariners are advised that TasWater will carry out the installation of a subsea pipeline across Gage Cove, linking the Old Beach Sewage pump station with the Herdsmans Cove shoreline.
Works will be conducted on Friday, 17 October 2025, from 0600 hours to 1800 hours.
The Marine and Safety (Pilotage and Navigation) Regulations 2017 determine that the master of a vessel must not anchor or dredge an anchor or any other equipment from the vessel within 90 metres of a submarine pipeline. These requirements apply to the newly installed sections of the pipeline.
Mariners should maintain a safe distance from working vessels, ensure they do not anchor or dredge in the vicinity, and minimise wash when navigating in the area.
