Mariners are advised a Fish Aggregating Device has been established at Tasman (Off the Sisters) in position 42° 57.550’S / 148° 1.481’E for 12 months.

Fish Aggregating Devices are now deployed in the following positions:

St Helens

Great Oyster Bay

42° 10.367’ S / 148° 10.600’E

42° 10.400’ S / 148° 10.717’E

Little Swanport

42° 17.695’S / 148° 2.381’E

Marion Bay

42° 50.674’S / 147° 56.029’E

Norfolk Bay

42° 56.710’S / 147° 43.913’E

Frederick Henry Bay 1

42° 59.368’S / 147° 33.707’E

Frederick Henry Bay 2

Tasman (The Sisters)

These devices consist of a large yellow buoy anchored to the seabed.  The buoys are lit with a flashing yellow light (Fl 3 S) and will be in place until further notice.

Mariners are not permitted to moor to the buoys.
