M143-24(T) South Bruny Island, Deployment of Scientific Equipment
Mariners are advised a wave/weather buoy will be deployed 1nm southwest of Mount Bleak, South Bruny Island and 2.3nm east-southeast of Point Burnett, Southport in position Latitude 43° 26.451’S Longitude 147° 4.682’E on Monday, 8 April 2024.
The wave buoy will be lit with a yellow light (Fl 1.5S) with a range of two nautical miles. The buoy will be in place for 12 months.
Mariners should transit the area with care.
