M296-24 Port of Burnie – Berth 5 Dredging and Construction

Mariners are advised that dredging operations will be undertaken at the western end of Burnie Berth 5 from Monday, 19 August 2024 until 11 October 2024.

Dredged material will be loaded into skip bins on the dumb barge ELDON alongside the Jack-Up Barge. The ELDON will be towed to a berth for shore disposal.

When not dredging the Jack-Up Barge will remain jacked-up in the dredged area with the ELDON alongside or tied up at berth 5.
