M408-23 Port of Devonport – Pile Installation

Mariners are advised works will be undertaken to install a steel pile at the southern end of the swing basin until 18 May 2024, using Rebecca Lily Construction Barge with the assistance of the tug, Leaders Creek.

During installation, the barge will be partially inside the shipping basin from time to time.

The Rebecca Lily anchors and steel wire anchor cables will be temporarily deployed into the swing basin at various times between scheduled shipping movements. The anchors are identified by yellow can buoys and yellow flashing lights.

All vessels are advised to maintain a low wash in the construction works area and keep a safe distance from anchor buoys, mooring lines and construction vessels.
